Detroits New Face Of Hip-Hop

Over the years, we have seen talented artists from the city of Detroit. Every generation is different. First it started off with Jack Fro6t, Top Authority, J Dilla and Goon Squad. Soon after the city turnt up, groups like Rock Bottom, Eastside Chedda Boys and Street Lordz resonated. After Blade died, everything changed. The Hip Hop Shop shut down. Big Block turned into a Car Wash then afterwards, they tore it down and put something else there to replace it. For awhile, everyone was seeing Eminem and Big Sean in the mainstream; Not knowing that there was more to the city than just these artists.

After that, Doughboyz CashOut, Team Eastside & BangGang came. After the groups came the fleet of solo artists not just from the East but the West as well.  There’s so many names, we’re not going to go through them but he’s one that arose from the Trenches with Ill bars and unique styles. The artist that we speak of is the one, the only “FlyBoi Rich”.

From rap battles to dropping dope timeless music, this artist is a prime example of a dedicated, hard working artist that that is humble and true to his word. No matter what type of beat it is… Boom Bap, Rap or Trap, he’ll put hands to it like Tyson in his prime. With more than 2 million streams together on all platforms, FlyBoi has studied and mastered the art of algorithms with music streaming from Japan all the way to the United States.

Partnered with Ethika, Rich is more than an artist; he is a designer and entrepreneur. He is the founder and owner of Dopeish Records. Soon, he will be dropping a new album on yall and touring from state to state. You can find this artist featured inside of Issue 5: Heart Of A Lion. Stay tuned for more updates and news.
