Detroit Lions Drone Show

On January 10, 2025, there will be a Drone Show to celebrate the breathtaking Detroit Lions’ victory in the NFL playoffs. The City of Windsor will joining the Detroit Lions. Gifted to Windsor by the Lions, this night will light up the sky above the downtown waterfront. The time of the event is 7:00 p.m. Downtown Windsor will be the place of all day and night activities including: a Detroit Lions flag-raising at Charles Clarke Square, the Lions’ “We Want More Tour” bus outside of Caesars Windsor, and complimentary hot beverages provided throughout downtown by the DWBIA.

You don’t have to worry about calling off from work or trying to find a babysitter, it’s on a Friday. This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the Windsor-Detroit region as a premier sports tourism destination, celebrate our unique identity as the ultimate "Two Nation Destination,” and create another unforgettable experience that helps to Strengthen the Core of downtown Windsor, Ontario with positive impacts across the broader community.
