Rio Da Yung OG Drops New Album
Rio Da Yung OG releases the new album “RIO FREE”. Straight outta Vehicle City (Flint Michigan), The Great Lakes Rapstar, Rio, is back to regain his throne. There has been a lot of artists trying to ride the wave, but is not authentic with it.
Fresh out of the Feds on Wednesday, December 11, the first thing Rio did was get blessed & fresh then jump in the studio. After serving a 60-month sentence of imprisonment, this young rapstar is not playing on the mic. Celebrating his release, Rio had a concert on January 11 at Detroit’s Masonic Temple then after that got blessed with more bands.
Receiving a Certified Gold plague for his single “Legendary” when he got back home was a great accomplishment and blessing for the Young OG. Just listen to how this artist has leveled up in the rap scene.
Rio was indicted by a grand jury due after being charged for a firearm in furtherance of pushing dope in Michigan in 2019, He started serving time in 2021, now it’s 2025 “The Year Of The Lion”. Rio did his time, and he’s never looking back. With his music being released sporadically while serving time, he has gained over a million fans worldwide.
Throughout the time he was locked, the #FREERIO movement has been on fleet, making his fanbase expand worldwide. “Fiend Lives Matter” and “Rio Circa 2020” were the projects that circulated although social media & digital streaming platforms.
